The Children’s Home
http://www.fumch.org/fumch/

Keystone UMC supports the Florida United Methodist Children’s Home in Enterprise, FL every year. This year our pledge is $7,776 (this number is decided by the district, using the formula of $12 per church member). This pledge is not a budgeted item, and our church collects a special offering on our months with five Sundays.

Meals on Wheel Needs Drivers
Do you have a Monday morning a month to give for the homebound? If you do, Meals on Wheels would be very grateful… as would we!

Because a few of us share a route and have a rotation schedule, one individual does not deliver meals every Monday morning. It’s a nice way to share and still be able to “switch off,” having a person or two to fill in when you can’t make it.

Here’s how it works: Each weekday morning, the Meals on Wheels truck delivers prepackaged meals to Wellspring Church, along with warmers and coolers. A list of clients and directions to their homes is attached. You just put everything in your car, deliver the meals, then return the warmer and cooler to Wellspring after your route (your mileage is tax-deductible, by the way).

People are so very grateful and happy to see you.   In the past we have even had the opportunity to serve Keystone UMC members!

If you’d like to do something wonderful for people in need but just can’t commit to a morning every week, please prayerfully consider helping the “Monday MOWers.” Call Ginger Little, Joe Mallmann, or Judy Larsen Swets for more information or to take a “test drive.”

Golf Tourney Raises Money for Preschool
The annual Wayne Odell Golf Tournament in November raised $5,353 for the Preschool Fund at KUMC.
Thanks to all committee members, members and friends of KUMC who supported the event, Silver Dollar Golf Club, and the Odell family for making this a success.

Attention newspaper recyclers: we need you!

Bring Your Newspapers to Church!
Instead of recycling your newspapers at home, please consider recycling them at Keystone UMC. This applies to friends and family as well. This is an ongoing project. All proceeds benefit our youth program. Please drop your papers in the blue dumpster near the Fellowship Hall.
